You can get gasoline for under $3.50 a gallon for a short time today.
Way Low Citgo at 2914 W. State St. will sell gas for $3.49 a gallon from about 11 a.m. to about 2 p.m. today, owner Ali Sahori said. The price is 58 cents a gallon cheaper than he’d normally sell it.
Sahori periodically does such sales as a marketing effort to draw traffic. He said it inspires motorists to check out his store regularly to see when his prices are lower than the competition.
Sahori said his strategy hasn’t changed as prices have gone north of $4.
